GHJ Nonprofit Expert Amber Coatney has joined the San Francisco Foundation’s Emerging Advisors Network. She joins a team of professional advisors that exchanges ideas and information about philanthropy and issues affecting the Bay Area.
“I am beyond thrilled to join this inspiring network of advisors dedicated to supporting and advancing philanthropy here in the Bay Area,” Amber said. “I look forward to collaborating with this dynamic group to help provide our clients and communities the support needed to make a real lasting impact.”
Amber is a member of GHJ’s Audit and Assurance Practice and provides accounting and auditing services to clients with a specialty focus on nonprofits. Additionally, she currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Center for Human Development, a Northern California nonprofit organization offering prevention and wellness services to vulnerable youth and families in Contra Costa County.
She credited GHJ Nonprofit Tax Practice Leader Lizbeth Nevarez for initially introducing her to the San Francisco Foundation, a connection that will now allow Amber to better serve the nonprofit community in Northern California.
