LOS ANGELES, CA (March 15, 2023) – GHJ, a national advisory and accounting firm, is delighted to announce that the Firm has been named to Accounting Today’s list of Top 100 Firms for the first time, as well as the 7th fastest-growing firm in the country.
GHJ ranked #86 on Accounting Today’s list of top firms, up from #110 in 2022.
“Our firm has continued to grow exponentially, and we are happy to see these efforts recognized by the industry,” said GHJ Managing Partner Tom Barry. “This growth is a testament to the dedication of our leadership team and the hard work done by our employees around the country.”
In 2022, GHJ had a 46 percent increase in revenue, which was achieved through a combination of national growth across 27 states, the introduction of new service offerings and investments in its leadership team and staff. Previously, GHJ opened the doors to its San Jose office, branded Creative Financial Staffing of Los Angeles to GHJ Search and Staffing as part of a strategic initiative to bring its recruiting arm under the menu of services, promoted several internal leaders to partner and introduced initiatives to enhance the employee experience. Accounting Today specifically pointed to GHJ’s Client Accounting and Advisory Services Practice as contributing to our Firm’s growth, which was launched in 2022.

Throughout this year of growth, the Firm has continued to promote its #BeMore culture, encouraging its team to take the time needed to serve themselves, their families and the Firm. In July 2022, GHJ introduced a summer mental health break (in addition to its holiday break), closing its offices for a week to give all team members a chance to rest and recharge.
GHJ also continued to support its employees through its diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility initiatives. Believing that a diversity of perspectives and voices is necessary for any truly great enterprise, GHJ aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all current and future members of the Firm. In November, GHJ was named the inaugural DEI-Focused Firm of the Year by CalCPA and the Los Angeles Business Journal.
This emphasis on serving family also extended to our service to the community. In June 2022, GHJ Foundation, the Firm’s vehicle for charitable giving that was launched in 2021, raised $15,000 in a fundraiser for Ukrainian refugees.
Beyond GHJ, several Firm leaders contribute to the industry and encourage the growth of the accounting profession.
