GHJ Managing Partner Featured in L.A. Times

GHJ Managing Partner Tom Barry was featured in the Los Angeles Times B2B Publishing’s Innovators Unplugged video series. He discusses his favorite part of working in public accounting, how business leaders can build resilience and what entrepreneurs need to know to set themselves up for success.

“I have had the opportunity throughout my career to walk into hundreds of businesses to learn not only how they operate from a business perspective, but to see different leadership styles, see how different cultures work and understand different business models,” Tom said in the video. “Having that opportunity to continue to learn and grow from different businesses, that’s what makes me get up in the morning.”

Tom acts as a business advocate for clients. With more than 25 years of public accounting experience, he provides audit and accounting, tax and general business advisory services to clients in a variety of industries including waste and recycling. He also spearheaded GHJ’s #BeMore cultural concept, which encourages members of the Firm to live their best lives, professionally and personally.
