GHJ Beverage Practice Leader Maria Pearman wrote an article for BeverageDaily about craft breweries are pivoting their strategies in response to a changing marketplace.
Maria notes that the traditional view of beer is on the decline, with total beer volume sales down 6.5 percent in the first half of 2022 versus the same time period a year ago. An expert in the beverage alcohol industry, Maria has written two books about running successful beverage alcohol businesses: Small Brewery Finance and Distillery Finance. She is a Finance Committee Member for the Brewers Association, the nation’s largest industry organization for craft brewers and an Advisory Board Member for The Bruery, an L.A.-based brewery with nationwide distribution.
