LOS ANGELES, CA (September 26, 2024) – GHJ, a national advisory and accounting firm, is expanding its presence in New York with the strategic hire of Managing Director Jim Rizzo, who is based in Buffalo. This move is part of GHJ's ongoing effort to strengthen its service offerings and client engagement across its market hubs.

Jim brings over 30 years of tax experience and has worked in public accounting and industry and is a fixture in his community. He is a member of the State University of New York at Buffalo Accounting Advisory Council and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Buffalo Chapter, where he previously served as Vice President, Treasurer, Taxation Committee Chair and Annual Tax Institute Chair. He was also a member of the Tax Executives Institute where he previously served as President, Vice President, Treasurer and Buffalo-Niagara Chapter Representative and is a Past Chair and Vice Chair of the American Gas Association Taxation Advisory Council.
Jim will leverage his extensive experience to fortify GHJ’s Tax Practice by integrating more comprehensive client solutions and fostering growth in the New York region.
