GHJ International Tax Practice Leader Polina Chapiro and GHJ State and Local Tax Practice Leader Frances Ellington will present sessions at the USC Gould School of Law’s 2024 Tax Institute. This event will be held in person at the Sheraton Grand in Los Angeles and virtually on Jan. 22-24.
Polina will present the “International Tax Hot Topics” session on Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. PST. This session will cover foreign tax credit regulations, the Moore case, foreign currency regulations, tax treaties and other updates from the past year.
Frances will present the “Leaving California” panel on Jan. 23 at 3:10 p.m. PST. This panel discussion will focus on how individuals, trusts and businesses acquire tax nexus in California and the tax factors to consider with a potential exit.
