Financial literacy is important, and I have raised money for various high school programs to promote it.
What is your proudest professional moment, and why?
My proudest moment was starting my own business. It gave me independence.

How do you de-stress from work? What are you passionate about?
I enjoy yoga, working out and playing golf. I have a passion for life and living each day as the best person I can be.
Scott Gilderman, CPA, has over 35 years of public accounting experience and is a member of GHJ’s Audit and Assurance Practice, specializing in employee benefit audits, reviews and general taxation.
Scott founded Los Angeles accounting firm GGF in 2006 and served as Managing Partner and Audit Partner in Charge until it merged into GHJ in 2024. He began his career at a previous Big Five accounting firm, where he performed both tax and audit work for businesses with up to $1 billion in sales. Additionally, Scott has been an expert witness in damages cases. He has worked with clients across a variety of industries, including entertainment, high net worth, manufacturing and distribution and nonprofit.
Throughout his career, Scott has served on the board of various nonprofits and currently serves on the Goldie Hawn Foundation’s Audit Committee.
Scott graduated from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting.
